Sea of Galilee

 

Church of the Beatitudes

 

The Sea of Galilee, also known as Lake Tiberius, is the largest freshwater lake in Israel, and a significant source of drinking water. It is fed by the Upper Jordan river and local runoff, and drained by the Lower Jordan river.
