SEEING AUSTIN WHILE VISITING BEN, HEATHER, AND ZACHARY GAWISER



This visit was because of the passing of Naomi Gawiser, however after a 15 year battle with metastatic breast cancer, everyone inculding Naomi was ready for it. Naomi's life was celebrated.



THE BLANTON MUSEUM, ON THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS CAMPUS

There was a spectacular visiting exhibit on MAYA ART, with pottery, stone carving, and jewelry pieces from 100 AD to 1200 AD, and explanations of the sympolism.

The permanent collection exhibits South American and Latin American painting and sculpture of late 1800's, and 1900's.



PARKER JAZZ CLUB

The club proprieter Kris Kimura, is quite a versitile musician. He sang, and played soprano sax, baritone sax, clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, bass flute, trumpet, and cornet, all in one show. SOME EXAMPLES:

There is no water in the falls this time of year, but the erosion patterns of the creek bed were worth a look.
